I'm Jason Kirby, the Founder & Managing Director at Thunder. As a serial entrepreneur, I've been in your shoes, navigating the miserable world of venture capital fundraising. I've raised more than $40M+ across multiple companies in gaming, software, HRtech, and experienced four successful exits. But I’ve failed many times prior, which helped prepare me to raise successfully.
As an active angel investor and advisor to numerous startups, I've gained invaluable insights into the venture capital ecosystem being on the other side. My investments in leading venture funds have expanded my network, allowing me to identify what leads to successful outcomes and what investors really want to see, but never tell you.
I launched Thunder in partnership with Interplay Ventures because I know firsthand how challenging and time-consuming it can be for founders to find the right investors and get the right message in front of them. I'm on a mission to help you focus on building relationships with those who matter and stop chasing tire kickers that slow you down. My goal is to get you back to building and creating value as quickly as possible.
